Flow State

Flow State is Zenden’s signature, somatic movement experience.

Each class begins with our Moment of Zen, a blend of meditation and instrumental sound to help you arrive, ground, and connect with yourself.

From there, the practice unfolds through somatic touch, breath work, vocal toning, intuitive movement, and rhythmic sequences that build gradually in intensity. You’ll explore a mix of strength, fluidity, and expression.

This class invites you to move beyond structure and into sensation. Some moments may feel energizing and expansive, others soft and grounding. There is space to release, to express, and to follow what feels true for your body.

The experience gradually slows into stillness before closing with sound, allowing your body to integrate and your nervous system to reset.

Expect to leave feeling more connected, more present, and more in tune with yourself, physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Warm Environment

This class takes place in our dark infrared heated room and will be labeled Warm, maintained at approximately 28°C.

The gentle heat creates a cocoon-like environment that supports relaxation, release, and deeper connection to your body.

If you are sensitive to heat or have any underlying health conditions, we encourage you to listen to your body, take breaks as needed, and step out of the room at any time.

  • Have cardiovascular conditions (including high or low blood pressure)
  • Are prone to dizziness, fainting, or sensitivity to heat
  • Have respiratory conditions that may be aggravated by heat
  • Are taking medications that affect hydration, circulation, or heat tolerance

Pilates

Pilates is a slow, intentional practice designed to build your foundation of strength through control, connection, and awareness.

Each class begins with our signature Moment of Zen, a blend of meditation and instrumental sound to help you arrive, settle, and connect with your breath.

From there, the focus is on foundational movement patterns, beginning with core activation to support the body before expanding into upper and lower body work. Movements are slower and more controlled, allowing you to connect deeply to the muscles you’re working while refining alignment and technique.

This class emphasizes quality over quantity, building strength through presence rather than pace. You’ll explore spacious stretching, mindful muscle activation, and intentional sequencing designed to support long-term strength, mobility, and body awareness.

The class gradually softens into a cool down and closing sound experience, allowing the body to integrate and reset.

Expect to leave feeling grounded, supported, and more connected to your body, with a stronger foundation for your Pilates practice.

Heated Environment

Classes may take place in either our light, non-heated studio or our dark infrared heated room. Heated classes will be labeled Hot and maintained at approximately 39°C.

What should I bring?

Just yourself, a water bottle, and an open mind. We provide mat towels for the hot infrared studio, yoga mats, red light mats, and props for all classes.

What should I wear?

Light, comfortable fitness clothes that allows you to move and stretch easily. For heated classes, moisture-wicking fabrics are best.

Can I do multiple classes in a day?

Yes — many guests enjoy pairing different experiences in one visit. For example, you might start with an energizing Pilates or Flow class, then unwind with a Sound or Reiki session. We recommend listening to your body and giving yourself time to rest and rehydrate between classes.

How often should I come to see results?

Consistency builds both strength and awareness. Most members find 3–4 movement classes per week creates balance between challenge, recovery, and growth.

Are the classes heated?

Some are. Classes held in our Dark Studio use infrared heat to warm the body and deepen release, while those in our Light Studio are non-heated and candlelit for a calmer, more grounding experience.

Do I need previous experience to join a class?

No — all movement classes are open to every level. Instructors offer variations so you can move at your own pace and comfort.

What is your phone policy?

To ensure a distraction free space and preserve the calm immersive nature, we encourage guests to keep phones on silent and stored away in their lockers while inside our studios. This allows everyone to fully disconnect, be present, and experience the session without distraction.

Are infrared heated classes safe for me?

Contraindications – Infrared Heated Room Classes (“Warm” / “Hot”)

Our heated classes use infrared heat, which warms the body more directly and can create a more intense internal heat response. While many people find this deeply therapeutic, it may not be suitable for everyone.

Please consult your healthcare provider before attending if you have any underlying health conditions.

This class may not be appropriate if you:

  • Are pregnant (especially for higher heat “Hot” classes)
  • Have cardiovascular conditions (including high or low blood pressure)
  • Are prone to dizziness, fainting, or sensitivity to heat
  • Have respiratory conditions that may be aggravated by heat
  • Are taking medications that affect hydration, circulation, or heat tolerance
  • Have a history of heat exhaustion or heat stroke
  • Have acute illness, fever, or are feeling unwell
  • Are recovering from recent surgery or serious injury
  • Are significantly dehydrated

Infrared heat can feel more penetrating than traditional heat, so it’s important to listen to your body closely. Please stay well hydrated, take breaks as needed, and step out of the room at any time if you feel uncomfortable.

Do we clean our own mats after each class?

No, we take care of that for you.

At Zenden, all mats and shared equipment are cleaned and sanitized by our team after every class, so you can simply relax and move on with your day.

We also provide high-quality mats for all guests, so there’s no need to bring your own.
